It was designed to be knitted with one skein of Doulton Border Leicester DK yarn of your choice of colour. With a combination of garter stitch and simple lace stitches, its clever design means it stays put around your neck.

Easy to make, beautiful to wear, the yarn is 100% rare breed, slaughter-free, pure British wool, grown on our North Yorkshire farm. We have a flock of over 300 Border Leicester sheep who all live to grow old. The scarf is both a versatile treat for yourself, and the perfect gift for a friend. The only difficult element is choosing your favourite shade from our beautiful Yorkshire-inspired colour range. This scarf looks fabulous in any shade!

A pair of 4.5 mm (UK7) needles and an extra needle- this can be finer than 4.5 mm.
