Splash of Colour Mitts Knitting kit, contains the pattern and 6 mini skeins of 4ply yarn.  You will be able to knit two pairs, one in each of the colourways just by switching the colour sequences.  Perfect if you want a pair for yourself and for a friend!

These lovely fair-isle fingerless mitts are knitted in-the-round using the stranded knitting technique and a grown-on thumb. This gives a double-thickness fabric which will provide extra warmth for your hands.

The yarn is grown on our farm in North Yorkshire, from our flock of rare breed, slaughter-free Border Leicester sheep. It is 100% British and ethically produced and we are very proud of it. Our yarn is great for colour work, as it has the necessary ‘sticky’ qualities to support stranded knitting and steeking. And it is both light and warm. Handwash in lukewarm water and dry flat, and your mitts will look great for years to come.

2 x 2.5mm 40cm circular needles
2 stitch markers
tapestry needle
stitch holder or oddment of yarn to hold thumb gusset stitches
