Scarborough Shawlette Knitting Kit, designed by Hazel Stokeld. This is a single skein, hand knitting kit to make this lovely lacy shawl.
Our Scarborough Shawlette Knitting Kit includes one 100g skein of Doulton Border Leicester 4ply yarn in the colour of your choice, and the pattern. Our yarn is grown on our North Yorkshire farm, from our flock of over 300 rare breed, slaughter-free Border Leicester sheep. All of our sheep live to grow old.
This pretty shawlette is a joy to knit and is both light and warm. The perfect treat for yourself or as a gift – if you can bear to part with it. The only difficult thing about it is choosing your favourite shade from our fabulous range of Yorkshire-inspired colours!
Additional materials required :
6 cm circular needles
7.5mm needle (for casting off)
2 stitch markers
Size
150 cm width across top x 75cm down to point, after blocking. Blocking is essential to open up the lace pattern and reveal all your hard work!
