Aran Cushion Knitting Kit designed for us by JenStarKnits using our beautiful Aran yarn.

This is an envelope style cushion cover, inspired by vintage gansey patterns and fields of sheep, which are represented by the flowing diamonds and small bobbles in the design. Our Aran yarn is grown from our North Yorkshire flock of rare breed and slaughter-free Border Leicester sheep. The cover takes two skeins of this yarn.

The stitch definition given by our yarn is superb, and the squishy qualities of our beautiful Border Leicester fleece ensures this is a cushion you will want to cuddle. As well as looking fabulous, it’s very tactile and cosy. It would look great in any room in your house, adding a touch of luxury to your decor. Whether knitted for yourself or as a gift, you will be delighted with the end result.

This Aran Cushion Knitting Kit includes two skeins of Doulton Border Leicester Aran yarn plus the pattern.  You will need to supply your choice of buttons and a cushion pad. The only difficult thing about it is choosing from our wonderful range of Yorkshire-inspired shades!
