THE WOOL QUEEN JUMPER

DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the tradition of choosing a rose queen or May queen in rural villages, the woollen industry chose a Wool Queen to represent them and inspire other women to join the industry.

This is a form fitting, roll neck, ribbed jumper with cables arranged asymmetrically front and back, and raglan sleeves. There is also one cable on the cuffs. It is knitted flat in a cosy DK yarn and then seamed. This sweater is slightly shaped at the waist, which combined with the ribbing, gives a flattering fit.
