Scarborough Shawlette Scarf Pattern

Description

A triangular lace shawl, in 4 ply, which is constructed from the centre of the top line, finishing at the outer edges. It is approximately 150cm wide across the top and 75cm down the centre spine to the point after blocking.

This small shawl is worked from the centre of the top with increases at each side of the centre line and at the outside edges on each alternate row to give a triangle shape. The main part is a lacy rib stitch with a band of foaming waves lace at the outer edges.
