Scarborough Lace Jacket Pattern

Scarborough Lace Jacket pattern. This stitch pattern is often called foaming waves and it seemed like a wonderful choice for a summer lace jacket which could be worn on a daytrip or longer stay.

This lovely jacket is knitted in pieces from the bottom up. It is stitched together at the sides, sleeve seams and to set in the sleeves. The front edges are reinforced to support the weight of the buttons with an integral 4 stitch garter band that is folded in half down the length of the front and hemmed down. The buttonholes are within the lace pattern.

This classic design would look wonderful in any of our Yorkshire-inspired shades. Knit it in a bright shade for a real modern feel. Pair it with jeans or something smarter.
