Lace Jacket Knitting Kit, contains the pattern and yarn to make your own summer lace jacket.

This stitch pattern is often called Foaming Waves and it seemed like the obvious choice for this garment.  I remember the sea splashing up over Scarborough’s sea wall at high tide.  The sun would catch the drops of water and make them sparkle but the cool breeze meant you needed a jacket.

The jacket is knitted in 4 pieces and then seamed. The front edges are reinforced for the weight of the buttons with an integral 4 stitch garter band that is folded in half down the length of the front and hemmed down.
