Uschi Pink 4ply yarn

Description

Uschi Pink 4ply yarn.  This beautiful worsted spun, high-end Border Leicester yarn is grown here on our farm in North Yorkshire, from our pedigree flock of over 300 pedigree Border Leicester sheep. Ours is a slaughter-free flock, so all of our sheep live to grow old.

After shearing we handpick the fleeces and transport them to Bradford for washing, combing and worsted spinning. The result is stunning.  With a great handle, stitch definition and drape, it is the perfect yarn for your special project. British through and through and we are very proud of it.

Uschi pink is such a vibrant shade, named after a dear friend.  It is stunning on its own but also lends a special accent to the other shades in our range. Our Uschi Pink 4ply yarn can provide the ‘pop’ in fair-isle and other colour work, which all of our yarn is perfect for. It has the sticky qualities necessary for steeking too – give it a try!
