This beautiful lace and cable cowl is made from just one skein of our Aran weight yarn.  It is soft and squishy and is a delight to knit with as well as wear.  The Cable and Lace Cowl Knitting Kit is a lovely treat for yourself, or even as a gift.   The only difficulty will be having to choose a favourite colour from our range of Yorkshire-inspired shades, named for the landscape around us!

This beautiful worsted spun high end Border Leicester yarn is grown here on our farm in North Yorkshire, from our pedigree flock of over 300 rare breed Border Leicester sheep. Ours is a slaughter-free flock, so all of our sheep live to grow old. Every purchase goes towards the upkeep of the flock, ensuring that this rare breed endures.

After shearing we handpick the fleeces and transport them to Bradford for washing, combing and worsted spinning. The result is stunning.  With a great handle, stitch definition and drape, it is the perfect yarn for your special project. British through and through and we are very proud of it.

Once your cowl is finished, handwash in lukewarm water and dry flat to ensure if keeps you warm and looking great for years to come.
